#9- Heroes

You talk to any little kid and ask them what a hero is.They’ll most likely pour out a list like: Superman, Spiderman, Batman, Captain America…The problem with them being our heroes: they’re not real.
Real heroes are everyday people that make a difference in the life of others. People who are willing to give the best of themselves to provide love and care for those who are less fortunate. Even animal cops are heroes. They save animals from neglect and death everyday.
If we didn’t have our eveyday heroes, I don’t think that life would be enjoyable at all. They bring happiness to the world, and I want to thank them for that.

Thank You!!!

#11- Families…

The International Day of Families wouldn’t relate to my family personally, but it does relate to my hopes for my family. I wish my immediate family could get together as a group more often. I feel like we accomplish so much already and I believe we could make a difference in our community if we tried.

When people get together for the greater good, they are being ideal role models for everyone. If people could learn to get along and help others, we would have a far better shot at saving this Earth. Go Team!!!

#8- Shades of…

Don\'t copy this, please. I took this picture. Thank you!

Ripples of silver that snake through peaceful waters,

twisting the currents with its tongue of jewels.

Midnight blue that absorbs all shadows,

casting contrast in the brightest lights.

Colors of nature that lick our mind,

filling our heart with the need to be kind.

#7- The African Wild Dog…

The African Wild Dog (Lycaon pictus) is the animal of my choice of which I would rather see in the wild than at the zoo. They are such beautiful animals.

Did you know that African wild dogs are actually more closely related to mongooses than they are to dogs? In fact, they aren’t even in the same biological family as dogs. They belong in the family: Feliformia, which cats are also included into.

These animals are really sleek too. Their coats are elaborate and they help the creature to blend into their environment. They have long legs and muzzles, which reminds me of my favorite animal, the wolf.

(I wouldn’t mind seeing a wolf in the wild, except for the fact that they are so sneeky and big. As long as I’m not within reach…)
